Easy Pb Chip Parfait

Looking for a healthy dessert idea that’s gooey, chocolatey, a little sweet but not loaded with sugar or artificial junk?

 

This PB Chip Parfait is the perfect alternative!

It’s delicious, packed with protein and contains good for you nutrients. It’s an excellent alternative to a bowl of ice-cream or a candy bar that is typically high in saturated fats, sugars and preservatives. 

I know we all have those certain treats we love and look forward to and that is all ok as long as it is in moderation. Swapping out some of the high sugar and processed foods for cleaner healthier options a little at a time could have such a positive impact on your health. 

This dish allows you to have sugar and chocolate but in a healthier way. 

Here is what I used to make this awesome dessert but feel free to adjust the amounts of each ingredient to make your own scrumptious version. 

I kept is nice and simple to keep the calories a bit lower and also to focus on the best part, the peanut butter and chocolate combo! You can add other toppings like chia seeds, pecans or fruit if you’d like! 

 

RECIPE

PB CHIP PARFAIT 

3/4 C Plain Greek Yogurt 

1 Tsp Honey 

A Pinch of Ginger 

2 TBL Semisweet Chocolate Chips 

1-2Tbl Peanut Butter, Natural 

1 TBL Cocoa Powder 

Mix Everything but the chocolate chips together into a bowl. Stir well. Add Chocolate Chips, mix into the yogurt combo. Top with a  few extra chocolate chips for good measure!
